Peace Talking Principes

I think, for Peace promotion

Peoples need to talk about core problems
and not about ''Philosophy of Peace and Humanity''
It's important, but we have a more important material problems

Like Geneva Initiative, but in ''Simple'' Peacemakers level

This is for example process for mainstream national groups

Israeli exporters suffer anti-Israel boycotts (JPost)

*Exporters suffer anti-Israel boycotts*

Mar. 30, 2009

Local exporters are losing foreign markets and customers because of the

global economic crisis and a growing anti-Israel boycott of locally made

products following Operation Cast Lead, the Israel Manufacturers Association

said Sunday.

"In addition to the problems and difficulties arising from the global

economic crisis, 21 percent of local exporters report… Continue

On Anti-Semitism, Boycotts, and the Case of Hermann Dierkes: An Open Letter from Jewish Peace Activists

Like many of these other Jewish scholars, activists, students, historians, writers, journalists, etc., I too strongly condemn Israel for what has done in the occupied terrirtories, and most recently, Gaza, and I feel that products that support Israel's violence, occupation and oppression in these areas from the occupied territories and Gaza should be boycotted.

With that stand, I am against Israel as a whole, since not everything Israel has done and produced has been bad. I think that we… Continue

If You Were God

Try to imagine being God, or more precisely, being the sum total of all the creative energy in the universe, even the energy of intelligence, and even the energy that is the lifeblood of each and every atom. Some 13.7 billion years ago there was nothing, not even time or space, or so the scientists tell us. And then, in an instant, there was a great explosion, what we call The Big Bang, and suddenly, there was everything, the entire universe in all its glory. You made that happen, and your… Continue

To My New Palestinian Friends

How can I console you

Whilst I know you cry

Not just because of the actions

Of my children

Yesterday and the day before;

But from the return

Of my grandfather,

Great, grandmother,

And their parents

To the land of yours -

Where yours and mine chose to fight

And our legacy is the perpetuation

Of anger and revenge,

Hurt, hate, distrust?

Is my success your failure?

Is your success my… Continue

The need for different fora, for a different interface

One of the main problems with the Ning interface is that it doesn't allow the multiplication of fora. All postings are dumped into the same forum, even though they are very different in many aspects. It's as news items in a local newspaper appeared in chronological order... or according to a couple of broad themes.

As bloggers, readers and commentators have different needs and different interests, it would be better if there were a separation between different types of… Continue
