Someone recently posted a picture of Israeli children writing their names on shells, entitling it in incendiary fashion with the words "Jewish Peace Education." The next day, it was changed to "Israeli Peace Education."
There were many thoughts that came to mind. One thought was this: Wouldn't it be just as possible for anyone to find a picture of an Arab Palestinian reveling in a terroristic act against Jews and… Continue

Silences make the real conversation between friends. Not the saying but the never needing to say is what count.
الصمت يصنع المحادثات بين الأصدقاء وليس القول هو المهم ..
A friend hears the song in my heart and sings it to me when my memory fails.
الصديق يسمع الأغنيه التي في قلبي ويكملها حين لا أستطيع تذكرها ..
A joy shred is doubled.
المرح عندما يكون بمشاركه هو مرح مضاعف..

On the face of it, it may be possible to make a reasonable case for Iran’s right to develop nuclear weapons. After all, Iran is an independent nation, and as such, should have the right to self-determination. If Iran perceives a threat from its enemy, Israel for example, which does possess nuclear weapons; shouldn’t she have the right to counter that threat with a nuclear arsenal of her own? Why should Israel be singled out as the one state in the Middle East that is allowed to have a nuclear… Continue

Seeker of Knowledge, Lover of Wisdom
What is it we do not understand, and what needs to be understood, that is the intelligible question we must ask ourselves when our brain runs wild in search of certainty.
The human brain, unique in the entire universe in its complexity, composed of over 200 billion nerve cells. Each cell has a purpose, and unique in its function. Each nerve cell links and joins in an enchanted appearance of over quadrillion… Continue

Israeli forces have killed another unarmed Palestinian during a protest against the Israel separation wall in the West Bank. In light of the commemorations and bogus postings by Eva, lets revisit this event.
Surprisingly, after the “massacre,” the Irgun escorted a representative of the Red Cross through the town and held a press conference. The New York Times' subsequent description of the battle was essentially the same as Begin's. The Times said more than 200 Arabs were killed, 40 captured and 70 women and children were released. No hint of a massacre appeared in the report. “Paradoxically, the Jews… Continue

Bilin has been fighting a legal and nonviolent battle against the Wall for three years. The wall is annexing 60% of Bilin's lands for illegal settlements.

I recommend Irshad Manji’s book, The Trouble with Islam Today. She writes the book as an open letter to her fellow Muslims, challenging them to join her in Operation Ijtihad (read the book to find out what this is). She throws in a call to non-Muslims as well, urging us to be careful of the racism that comes from over-compensating. This book is an inspiration to reaffirm our commitment to freedom of expression, individuality, and human rights for all.
