16 Palestinians killed yesterday, not a peep about it on this site

Why was nothing mentioned? Because it was not at the hand of Israel and therefore apparently doesn't matter. I don't really know why this is, but I feel it is important to note anyways.
12 Palestinians killed in Gaza
3 Palestinians killed in Lebanon
1 Palestinian killed (at the hand of Fatah no less) in the West Bank
Why am I posting this? Because no one else will.

Palestinian activists cut their noses off to spite what's left of their face

Here's a letter I received from "Daoud"

It pretty much explains the insanity of some of the Palestinian activists in the United States who know how to say "No" but can't say yes to anything except their own failure:

I don't support the Israeli labor party.

Do you support the Israeli labor party?

It is the party that is led now by Ehud Barak, the Israeli defense (war) minister.

It is the party of David Ben-Gurion, who gave the orders… Continue

Does anyone know how I can become a conflict mediator?

Hi everyone.

So I am trying to start a Students for Peace/intercultural group at my college that works towards helping ethnic groups and religions that are in conflict. I also want this group to be a good way to learn about these cultures, and hopefully, we as a group can create tolerance and respect, along with solidarity.

Anyways, I've talked to people that have some very strong view points towards working with people that have opinions that greatly differ, and this really upsets… Continue

Dear Eyal and MEPEACE Committee,

I suggest a 3 Day PEACE Conference, in Haifa or Tel Aviv, that would have Panels of talks and discussions, Roundtables, Lectures, Workshops, etc. with Peace Resolutions at the end, that would be sent to the Israeli and Palestinian Governments, the Israeli and International Media and World Governments worldwide. I am confident that some of them would give us their support and hopefully, their sponsorship. I feel, and so do many others in MePeace, that… Continue

The Antiracist World Cup

Every year, in the July month, near Bologna we organize the Antiracist World Cup (in italian Mondiali Antirazzisti).

The Antiracist World Cup is organised by Progetto Ultrà, Istoreco and UISP Emilia-Romagna.

Progetto Ultrà, promoted by UISP Emilia-Romagna, aims to defend the traditional values of popular fan culture and to eliminate intolerant and xenophobic behaviour from inside and outside football stadiums through social projects aimed at fans.

Istoreco, the Institute… Continue

On Friend Request: reversing a policy

Today, I decided to become popular! How? By accepting all the friendship requests I have received.

The idea seems unpleasant and degrading (for friendship), but why not try something new. It's just another word (albeit an inadequate one) for networking, isn't it?

I just closed my eyes for a minute thinking of the extraordinary concept of "friendship request". I tried to follow their translation in the subtitles and in my language they said: "Hello stranger. I've never met you… Continue

Campaign to help Palestinian member of Knesset exposes problems facing peace

I knew I would open up a hornets nest with this one: I am organizing a benefit to support Nadia Hilou, a Palestinian Israeli Christian Woman member of the Knesset in her re-election bid ... with a comedy show featuring the Infidels of Comedy, the Christian Arab Comedy group I organized to help promote an awareness of Arab Christians in the United States.

And of course, I am getting calls from some Palestinians who say I am a "traitor" for supporting the Labor Party.

They… Continue

Dear John, Eyal, and commentators,

Warm thanks for your appreciation and your thorough understanding of the deep meaning and impact of my post on THE NAQBA OF THE JEWS FROM ARAB COUNTRIES.. Until now, we have mostly heard about the Naqba - uprooting of the Palestinians, and almost nothing about the uprooting of the Jews from Arab countries. It is a great pity, as this is a new undiscovered avenue for the promotion of peace between Palestinians and Israelis. When my Palestinian… Continue

Anger management 101

The biggest difficulty I face as a Peaceseeker is anger-management, that is the management of my anger and that of the people I'm talking to.

I realised today that in my reaction to Ada Aharoni's post, I wasn't able to get rid of the emotion that had filled my heart. Even though I was rather analytical in my answer, I was confrontational when I said: "I fail to understand how a human rights activist agrees to approach two distinct (yet intertwined) tragedies like a… Continue

Gaza and the anti-apartheid wall action week

Dear friends:

In Bethlehem area, we face colonial settlements and apartheid walls on three sides (north, west, south) and east is a closed military zone. A week ago an activist suggested we simply break the wall with the help of internationals (ala what happened in Gaza). Two days later I had a dream of doing precisely that. My dream was focused on feelings about doing such a thing as we were doing it; feelings of fear, anxiety, thrill, love, hope, trepidations, sadness and joy and… Continue

Why is The Feeling of Anger…..?

Why is The Feeling of Anger…..?

Palestine… a dream or a reality.. a fact or an illusion… are we by persisting to have our whole land without dropping a single Inch being stupid or is it just my right and any Palestinian’s right? Why I am being surrounded by question marks when I say that I am with a one Palestinian state solution, and not two states…? Why we should leave our land for peace?.. isn’t there any peace without surrender?... and why it is us who should surrender when we… Continue

set a party (political)

In my personal-official site there is a forum called set a party. Since most of my site is in Hebrew & revolves about my Israeli (mainly musical) activity, & since the party is meant to run to the Knesset any way, the forum is in Hebrew. Hebrew speakers among you are invited to look it up in it. The url is & in Hebrew it’s: פורום להקים מפלגה.

Anyhow, what is it all about? Well – since I think Israel should improve its ways in so many maters, & since I… Continue

Photo story: Gazans live back in the Middle Ages!

The suffering and the torture could be a reason for nation's collapse or fall down. However, it could be a way to achieve victory or some of its commencements. I always gather my ideas to penetrate this suffering to tell the story of my people through my words.

I having nothing but a strong will to write and tell the untold story of my people in the besieged Gaza strip. I truly became addicted on reporting daily sufferings… Continue

קיבלתי החלטה לכתוב יותר כדי ליצור סיפור, כי ללא סיפור מסגרת, מסרים אשר יוצאים כמו אבנים יקרים שוכבים על שולחן ללא מסגרת מתאימה

My conclusions is to wrote more, because without it, i can't to create a narrative - interesting story

لماذا الغضب...؟

Continue
