35 years since the Yom Kippur War - Reflections

On this day, 35 years ago exactly, the Yom Kippur War broke out.

About Rosh HaShanah, the Head (Beginning) of the Year

I'm sorry I haven't been here more in the last week or two, to share more holy-day greetings and blessings with you all. I may not be here so much in the coming weeks, also, because it looks like b’ezrat HaShem I'll be working as a field organizer for Barak Obama's campaign!

In Search of New Frontiers

America has always been a land of new frontiers. From the time that Columbus first set foot here, to the time that pioneers set out to settle the West, to the time that Americans set out for the moon, there has always been a sense here that there are new frontiers to explore. And yet, America now finds herself somewhat at a loss, and the promise of new frontiers is becoming illusory at best. Where do we go from here? The question lingers in the public mind.

America faces some grave… Continue

Today our twelve hundredth peacemaker joined As the Rosh Hashana holiday draws to a close and the new year begins, I want to reflect on our achievements and look forward.

Rabbi Menachem Frohman, one of the founders of the settler movement in Israel, a leading religious Zionist and Chief Rabbi of the settlement of Tekoa, has come to believe that Barack Obama is the only hope for Middle East peace. Here are his startling statements in video and in the form of an open letter to the Senator. Nothing is as it seems on the frontlines of conflict and peacemaking.…
