On 1,200 peacemakers and the start of a new year

Today our twelve hundredth peacemaker joined As the Rosh Hashana holiday draws to a close and the new year begins, I want to reflect on our achievements and look forward.

We have attracted more than a half million page visits from more than 150 countries. The numbers are just that, numbers, a reflect of what is possible. I believe peace is possible in the Middle East, and that is why I am committed to improving what we offer on

On a personal note, Rosh Hashana passed peacefully, with family, friends and love. We should have a blessed year.

Dear Eyal,

Peace is indeed very possible. Peace is indeed very desirable. Peace is indeed really sought by many.

Unless we more consistently demonstrate our willingness to listen to all peaceseekers respectfully here we will not contribute a lot to achieving peace.

We must all consistently demonstrate the respect for others here that we expect all others to have for us. Sadly, from my perspective, that has not been as consistent and transparent as that should be.

Seasons ... to all...
