"Olmert, it's time to choose" and "Yes to an agreement" make up the title of a new public relations campaign for peace, launched this morning in Tel Aviv. Peace Now and the Geneva Initiative joined forces to create and launch this campaign, at a cost of nearly one million shekels ($250,000). The campaign seeks to seize the peace initiative in the lead-up to the Annapolis peace summit.

I was at the press conference to launch the campaign and I was impressed by the intimated conversation between the public and Olmert. Our elected representatives are accountable to the public and its wellbeing, and the communication between public servants and people should be obvious.

I wish this campaign a lot of luck, but it will need more than good luck to succeed!
