SIDO KANHU Charity TRUST WAKE UP, INDIA… The painful truth behind a slick and surging nation.. » Nearly 50 % of the world’s hungry live in India… India is ranked 66th out of 88 countries in the global hunger index. » Around 35 % of India’s population- 350 million are considered food-insecure, consuming less than 80 % of minimum energy requirements. » About 58 % of the subsidized food doesn't reach families below the poverty line. » About 5 % the population (50 million people) are unable to but food grains even at BPL rate through out the year. I was tagged with the above note…..In response to this note I wrote the following note…………. The BJP party projected PM candidate of India Mr. Narendra B. Modi had recently two public announcements "good days are coming" and "he is No. 1 worker whose each and every body limb would be dedicated to the service of the nation" .Now question arises, whom he addressed? Is it to the monopoly national-multinational capitalist classes, who want to invest in India to maximize their profits in this crisis ridden world capitalism or to the working class of India.. Mr. Modi's address is definitely for the capitalist class and never for the masses, who have been camouflaged in his vote campaign... Now if the above mentioned facts produced by SK Charitable Trust are true/facts; who would be held responsible for this, Is it not the governance of state machinery of a so called sovereign (Indian) state by the Congress Party (more than six decades) and BJP Party (about one decade) responsible for such a state of affairs of India??? Is it not the pro-rich, pro-market and anti-working class/poor policies of the sovereign government responsible for such a situation??? Mr. Modi is silent on changing the system in favour of poor or working populations that means whatever he is speaking is speaking in favour of the rich/capitalists/multinationals and for confusing the masses. If one analyses Mr. Modi's remarks then he/she would find that he is talking of "Good days are coming" for the investors in Indian economy i.e. Indian monopoly houses , foreign direct investors, etc. And any good for the capitalist class means worst situation for the working class. Mr. Modi's second comment is also true He is No. benevolent servant of the corporate houses... that he has proved through his so called good deeds (actually misdeeds for the common people) as CM of Gujrat....It has been officially recognized that statuses of child health and poverty stricken people has been far more worse in Gujrat compared to many other Indian states... Mr. Modi wants to guarantee the FDIs a far more better environment than China or any other third world country has been providing ? then why investment in China? or Pakisthan?? Or elsewhere??? Why not in India??? Now consider a situation, if Indian the then immature capitalists class could create such a sorry state of affairs for the common masses during its independent rule, then what kind of havoc or heaven they would be creating for the Indian masses when the exploiter capitalist class all over the world would be allowed to invest in India proving them all type of concessions (free land, cheap raw materials and even more cheaper labour power….. this we the sensible people of India should imagine or wait and watch the consequences …..
