Pilgrimage in the Holy Land :
8-29 of November, Walking Together from the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea :
English - Arabic - Hebrew :
Global Grace Day - 9th of November :
“GRACE reminds me of walking in the service of the higher mission, in the service of life and its inherent justice.”
The Pilgrimage will be held and led by the PRV-ME (Peace Research Village Middle East) group, a group of committed and experienced peace workers from the Middle East and Europe in the fields of social, political, educational and environmental cooperation, women empowerment and leadership. Throughout their various work and experience they have all reached the conclusion that sustainable peace can be achieved only when it touches all aspects of life and that inner peace and outer peace are fully connected. The creation of the PRV-ME as an ongoing community is their courageous next step in personal and global peace work.
The vision of the Peace Research Village was born in Tamera community in Portugal, an educational center for global peace work where many Israelis and Palestinians have been studying in the Monte Cerro Peace Education, from 2006-2009, forming a core group of peace activists working towards the manifestation of the vision of the Peace Research Village in the Middle East. The Peace Research Village benefits from the thirty years experience in community development, social dynamics and political network of Tamera.
The project began focusing on Israel-Palestine as a direct response to the beginning of the second Intifada in 2000. Since then many peace camps and workshops were held in Tamera in which Israelis and Palestinians gained knowledge and experience in outer and inner peace work and in the issue of building community.
