Editor's note: Since this article was first published, L'Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported on the latest phase of the Brazilian government's implementation of Invincible Defense Technology (IDT):

"Elite Brazilian police training with French instructors to protect the Olympics said this week they fear an attempted terrorist attack similar to the bloodshed in Paris and are working hard to be ready."

Chief of staff of the military police in Rio, Colonel Robson Rodrigues explained his reason for implementing the first phase of IDT deployment in the Folha de Sao Paulo (in Portuguese) newspaper:

"A policeman that is less stressed will have better capacity to make decisions and will fire less during an operation."

Preventing Paris Type Terrorist Attacks by Reducing Stress

Typical Military Model

Old defense approach: the military fails to address social stress.

Invincible Military Model

New Invincible Defense Technology approach addresses social stress, thereby ending war, terrorism and violence.

The military of any country can prevent terrorism by deploying a proven, advanced human resource-based military technology. Invincible Defense Technology (IDT) is a statistically-validated approach. Military field tests and 23 peer-reviewed studies show it quickly, effectively, and efficiently ends turmoil. This IDT approach to reducing stress and violence has been implemented by militaries. Experience shows that when IDT is used, defense is not based on guesswork, and lives are not risked.

Specially trained IDT Prevention Wings of the Military reduce national and cross-border collective stress. A palpable influence of peace permeates the surrounding environment. Reduced stress is marked by such statistics as reduced: conflict, terrorism, crime rate, accidents, hospital admissions, and infant mortality.

The IDT daily routine of the meditating warriors include the practice of the non-religious Transcendental Meditation® technique and its advanced programs. As a societal coherence-creating military unit, they practice these programs twice a day, seven days a week, preferably in a secure location near targeted populations. A global-scale study published in the Journal of Offender Rehabilitation documented a 72 percent drop in international terrorism and international conflict dropped 32 percent when IDT groups were large enough to affect the global population.

During wartime, such coherence-creating groups have benefited societies. The statistical research methods used preclude chance or coincidence. IDT works extremely well.

In an experiment published in the respected Journal of Conflict Resolution, war intensity in Lebanon dropped 45% within 48 hours. A follow-up study in the Journal of Social Behavior and Personality was used to assess the impact of seven large IDT assemblies held at varying distances from Lebanon in the mid 1980's. Cooperation among antagonists rose by 66%, war intensity fell 48%, war fatalities fell 71%, and war injuries fell 68%. IDT groups functioning during peacetime can also act to prevent future conflicts from arising.
