We are trying to start Software-Internet Cooperative, any one interested to join?

About the cooperative

The cooperative is a company of software and Internet solution belonging to its members. There will be no employers or employees.
The cooperative will work on paid projects for immediate income and for initiative or startup-like projects that will be a long term investment.
Modern companies tend to have a rigid management hierarchy. Working relationships are more competitive then supportive. There is lack of appreciation for individual effort and disregards of her needs, ambitions and talents. Individuals are valued mainly according to their compliance with the company or corporate rules. This kind of working relationship results in frustration.
We would like to create a working place that belongs to its members, that its members well being is as important as the “profit” of the company. We would like to break the link between management position, salary, ego and the sense importance.

Our goals:
1. A nice and pleasant working place
2. Cooperative team work rather then competitive
3. Multi cultural company
4. Choosing projects that comply with members beliefs

The cooperative will be managed by its members, projects that require technical managements will be managed by an ad-hoc project managers.

We are now looking for more people to join the cooperative,

Hi Nicola & Philip
Thanks for your kind offer.
Next step is to find people located in Israel or Palestine that we can have the seed group for the cooperative.
We would need design and yes, also for mobile device, we are using media, maybe we will need some advice from a professional.

Very interesting, David. There is a nice sense of centered energy in your description of it.

No point my rambling on here, but I'll look into this/contact you and see if I can be of any benefit. I'm not coder or IT tech, etc., but I do have some others skills. I.e. video editing.

That said, I also have to see how the flow or Tao goes, i.e. have some personal challenges as noted at my profile.

Whatever does or does not unfold in terms of me being able to participate, I certainly wish you the best.

Hi David, if you are thinking of anything mobile device related, I'm in - even if I can't do myself, I might know someone who can help - depending on the nature of the projects - all my informal mobile experimenting is on my blog and site If you think it may be suitable, feel free to get in touch, I generally work for temporary - max 10 hrs per week assignments due to full time job and other commitments etc, Thanks and very best wishes for your venture, Nicola

this is great work, Holarchy is an effort to take the natural flow of development and creat a path for cellular collaboration. I have developed similar model too and I have some friend who are investigating in this path. Money is just a symbol and adjusting "economical cells" with self inner economic structure to build tissue of healthy economy to renew the dynamic of our global economy seem to me the next stage of our socio-moral-economic evolution.

with all that we need to be aware that we grew from where we stand, and I was suggesting the holarchic decision and labor devision principles as they are superior in my view and experience to the "cooperative model".

cooperatives were important force in building Israel, and if there are palestinians who want their state to outperform what Israel did 60 years ago I advise them to study these approaches and when they plan their economy to last, your model is valuable.

Hi Neri,

Holacracy seems to be a trademarked term, like O'Rielly's "Web 2.0" trademark except the word Holacracy is not a popular term as of now or ever.

I have found in designing a P2P Energy Economy (model) that two mechanisms are needed:

1. dynamic supply/demand management: amount of work vs number of available man hours

2. fair scheduling of resources: optimizing work sharing based on a fair scheduling algorithm

Both concepts are detailed under the updated Peer Bank section of P2P Social Currency

You may want to check it out

I must say we do not have a decisive decision about that.
We do have projects some of the in the idea stage one in development.
We know that we want a multicultural cooperative, with equality.
We are planning to discuss these issues while we have the seed group setup togther.
