I am from Connecticut. I went to University in Boston, lived in Iceland and then moved to New York City. Throughout college I voluteered and worked for Social Change through Peace Games (now PeaceFirst). I now work at an international grassroots movement that aims to amplify the voice of Israeli and Palestinian moderates, empowering them to seize back the agenda for conflict resolution and demand that their leaders achieve a two-state solution.
Why I want peace:
I believe that everyone deserves to live a prosperous, dignified life so that they may realize their full potenial. Without peace this is basically impossible. Everyone should have endless opportunities without the horror and hiderance of violence and conflict.
Interests and activities:
Reading, learning, creating, writing, running, summer, Palestine/Israel, tea, museums, Greece, travel, sustainability, social networking, athropology, music, space, time travel, ancient history, Brooklyn, not-for-profits, board games, marine biology, Twin Peaks, school. So much more.
Something you didn't know about me:
I have hundreds of heroes and I'd like to travel around the world.
I would like to be connected to like-minded peacemakers. I would like to share information about my organization and learn about other wonderful organizations committed to bringing more peace to conflict zones.
