We are helped by our volunteers.
We need resources.

dear Nilay
I can't join you this year but wish you the greatest success on this mission. Peace will only come when we see each other as fellow human beings rather than symbols of the ideologies that our "leaders" would have us believe. The world is suffering from the disease of disconnectedness as we have lost our sense of the sacredness of all things.
I lived in India for awhile, but further north in Rajasthan. I learned so much when I lived there. I learned about the Hindus, Jains, Muslims, Sikhs, and Parsis. I was also there, when India test exploded a nuclear bomb, and when both it and Pakistan were developing ballistic missiles. I have been writing to the Pakistani press, trying to encourage Pakistan to establish diplomatic relations with Israel. India already has. I have talked to people who remember the partition between the two countries, and I knew Benazir Bhutto, who called for a South Asian Common Market. Problems in the subcontinent have overlap in the MIddle East, because both areas were under British rule, and when they pulled out, it lead to an uneasy partition between peoples. Namaste.
